Citizens for Legitimate Government (CLG) has learned that so-called DC Madam, Deborah Jeane Palfrey, filed a pro se "Motion for Pretrial Conference to Consider Matters Relating to Classified Information" under the Classified Information Procedures Act.

This filing alerts the government that Palfrey's defense will likely involve the disclosure of evidence and identities presently deemed "Classified" by the U.S. government.

In an exclusive interview with CLG, Ms. Palfrey told Lori Price:

"My attorney, Mr. Sibley, and I, have very good reason to believe my case involves matters relating to national security and intelligence gathering operations. A cursory examination of Pamela Martin & Associates (PMA) phone lists from 1994, 1995, and 2000 is beginning to show that so-called "Washington Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey's contention, in her defense, that a number of influential public and private officials were clients of her escort agency is being borne out by matching phone records with Haines Crosscross Directories from the years 1994, 1995, and 2000.

Perhaps explaining why the major media decided to ignore the escort story after ABC News spiked it, the phone number for a senior executive for CNN's parent company, AOL Time Warner, appears on PMA records from 1995....

From Judge Kessler's Order: "Defendant in this case possesses a list of telephone numbers (the "List") that has generated much controversy and speculation. The Government has twice applied to this Court ex parte for Temporary Retraining Orders ("TROs") preventing Defendant from selling the List or from distributing copies for free. The Court granted those applications, in order to preserve the status quo, and, therefore, held a hearing to give Defendant an opportunity to respond. Upon consideration of the pleadings,the applicable statutes and case law, and the oral argument, the Court concludes the Defendant's request to quash the TROs should be granted."...

May 25-27, 2007 -- The Justice Department filed a motion before US District Judge Gladys Kessler on May 23 to maintain the gag order against Washington Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey and her attorneys from releasing the names of any additional customers of Pamela Martin & Associates.

However, the motion by Assistant US Attorney William Cowden to keep the gag order in place was not filed until 11:54 PM Wednesday night, just six minutes before its expiration. In addition, the government's filing contained no affidavits supporting a continued gag order. The failure to provide affidavits weakened the government's case, according to court sources...

Paul Wolfowitz in the World Bank With Nepotism
The World Bank president and "Iraq war architect" allegedly helped his girlfriend get a generous salary package and promotion when she transferred to the State Department. Wolfowitz said an ethics panel approved the deal, but the panel denies it. An investigative committee found that the deal was a conflict of interest. (He apparently helped her career in the past, too.) Wolfowitz critics also allege that he used his position at the bank to promote a conservative agenda on family planning and global warming...

US District Judge for the District of Columbia Gladys Kessler, a Clinton appointee, has re-issued an order prohibiting DC Madam Deborah Jeane Palfrey from releasing any more phone lists of her Pamela Martin & Associates customers. Secrecy of the phone records has been a priority for DC Assistant US Attorney William Cowden. Palfrey released her 10 years of customer phone records to ABC's "20/20" before Kessler's March order prohibiting such a release took effect. As WMR reported, ABC and Disney, under pressure from the Bush White House, killed the story and stated that there were no "newsworthy" names on the Madam's list.
